Equal opportunities

Priory is committed to equality of opportunity and the elimination of unlawful discrimination in employment. In particular, we oppose discrimination on the grounds of age, gender, marital status, race and country of origin, language, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation or disability.

Criminal Records Bureau

All appointments are subject to the receipt of a satisfactory Disclosure at the appropriate level from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). This is a statutory requirement placed on the Priory Group by the registration framework arising out of national standards and it is therefore a condition of all contracts of employment. This means that the company has the right to access and make decisions on offences that would otherwise be regarded as 'spent'. All conditional offers of employment will be subject to at least a Standard Disclosure that provides information on the applicant's complete criminal record. For some categories of appointment an Enhanced Disclosure that potentially includes further relevant information from police records will be sought. For more information about the Disclosure scheme please visit www.crb.gov.uk.

Staff benefits

We have a Group-wide remuneration system that is fair, transparent, flexible and provides individual recognition, helping people to progress in their careers or, if they wish to remain in their roles, to enjoy greater job satisfaction.

We are committed to the professional development of all of our colleagues. For more information, click on to our 'Learning and development' section.
