Overview
The Priory Grange St. Neots is a 40-bed hospital set in a quiet residential area close to the town centre. St. Neots is a lively market town which is easily accessible via the A1 and a short journey from London by train via Kings Cross Station. It is easily accessible by public transport from Bedford, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Huntingdon and Cambridge.
Our service users have enduring mental health issues, often coupled with chronic physical health problems and are likely to present with challenges that are difficult to manage in mainstream care or in the community. They may have a forensic background and need to step-down from medium or low secure units. Occasionally an individual may be admitted following a court outcome.
Some of our service users require a structured and active programme whilst others require a slow-stream approach to achieve their outcomes, which will be to progress towards supportive or independent living in the community. The outcome is always to strive towards supporting service users to progress to a less restrictive environment.
Here at the Priory Grange St Neots we can also provide continuing and palliative care to those individuals with a progressive condition who continue to present with high risks.
