Jacques Hall Outcomes and achievements
We know that special help is needed to assist the young people in our care in planning for their future. By supporting them through educational and vocational placements, arranging work experience programmes and providing specialist careers advice, we can help young people think about the next steps they want to take and achieve positive outcomes.
The local Connexions and careers advisory service work with pupils from Years 9 and 10 to organise work experience. This is an important element in preparing them for independence through the development of life skills within a mainstream community setting. Jacques Hall aims to work with the placing authority to identify the best plans for a young person when they may be moving on, either to return to live in a family setting or to move on to independent living.
