Jacques Hall Therapy and specialist services
Pupils have access to a range of therapies and specialist services including:
- Child and adolescent psychiatry
- Psychiatric assessments of new pupils
- Advice to personal tutors in constructing placement plans
- On-going assessment of pupils
- Recommendations regarding treatment options such as medication/therapy when needed
- Art therapy
- Education psychology assessments of new students
- Advice to teaching staff in constructing IEPs
We maintain good links with our looked after children's nurse who visits Jacques Hall at least once a term. Assistance can be easily accessed from the local child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) unit when necessary.
