Sheridan School Accessing and funding of education and care

Sheridan School has a nationwide intake of boys and girls aged 10 to 16 years with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties including autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Other difficulties including specific learning difficulties, attention deficit disorder (ADD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Most young people will have a Statement of Special Educational Need.

Admissions to school are all on an individual basis and are dependent on a detailed assessment of individual needs and our ability to meet those needs.

Most students are funded by local education authorities, social services department and health departments or a combination of these.
