Sheridan School Moving on
We know that special help is required to assist young people in planning for the future and the transition into adulthood. By supporting them through educational and vocational placements, arranging work experience programmes (where appropriate) and providing specialist careers advice, we can help young people to think about the next steps they want to take. Our close network of local Connexions and careers advisory service work ensures that pupils from Year 9 to 10 are able to plan their futures and engage in work experience. This is an important element in preparation for independence through the development of life skills within a mainstream community setting.
