Sheridan School Outcomes and achievements

Sheridan School aims to realise the five outcomes defined in Every Child Matters; to be healthy, to stay safe, to enjoy and achieve, to make a positive contribution and to achieve economic well being. We aim to create an ethos relevant to the needs of young people and society where young people are encouraged to value others whilst developing their own values of respect, tolerance, understanding, empathy, integrity and personal responsibility.

The learning programmes, residential experience and therapeutic support are designed to ensure that each individual will achieve their full academic and social potential whilst developing the appropriate personal and social skills to achieve and participate positively in society. Through developing the attitudes and abilities necessary for the working environment whilst also re-building confidence and self-worth, young people are supported to develop the skills necessary for independent living.
