For depression
This half day, weekly programme runs for six weeks. This programme can be accessed alone or in conjunction with mindfulness-based CBT for stress reduction or developing self esteem and assertiveness. Patients accessing this programme will develop the means to improve and maintain mood, improve sleep and increase their motivation and life satisfaction.
For mindfulness-based stress reduction
Patients benefit by learning and practicing proven techniques for relaxing, improving sleep, improving general wellbeing, managing pain and dealing with every day stressors. The programme harnesses clinically proven mindfulness-based stress relief techniques and provides relapse prevention techniques for both anxiety and depression. This half day, weekly programme runs for six weeks.
For developing self esteem and assertiveness
Low self esteem and lack of confidence are closely linked to depression and anxiety both as symptoms and contributing factors. This half day, weekly programme runs for six weeks and enables participants to develop skills of assertive communication and to identify and address unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour leading to greater confidence and reduced susceptability to depression and social anxiety.
