We offer medium and long-term care and provide many patients with a home for life. Our therapeutic programmes include:

We offer three separate units, creating a highly flexible setting that responds to changing patient needs.

Wren Ward

Provides focused interventions as part of a continuing care package. A 14-bedded ward specifically for vulnerable male patients who may have mild learning disability, acquired brain injury, Huntington’s Disease or other neuro-degenerative conditions such as early onset dementia.

Robin Ward

A nine bedded ward specifically for females who present more challenging and aggressive behaviour, and who may be detained under the Mental Health Act. Conditions catered for include chronic mental health or physical health conditions and organic brain damage.

Dove Ward

An 11-bedded male ward offering a slow stream recovery programme for older service users who present with personality disorder and a forensic history including those who may be registered with MAPPA, be on the Sex Offender Register or require monitoring through individualised risk assessments. Patients may have additional complexities including chronic mental and physical health conditions and challenging behaviours.
