Eastwood Grange Care

Eastwood Grange School fully embraces the Every Child Matters agenda and we believe that all aspects of residential life should have positive value. Education, care and therapy objectives are of equal importance and are combined in the construction of individual programmes for young people. These are used to help alleviate problems, develop potential and return young people to their own communities as and when appropriate.

Individual support and counselling are provided through a key worker system with regular meetings in both education and care. Learning support assistants and residential social workers provide additional support throughout the day and waking night staff act as positive, complimentary role models for care and development within the residential setting.

The fully integrated team of care and education staff provide the stimulation, knowledge and expertise which help to create a sense of belonging and shared ownership. A high staff to pupil ratio and additional support is provided which helps to produce positive changes through ongoing support, advice and guidance.
