Eastwood Grange Education
All pupils have an entitlement to a positive education which allows them to experience success. Pupils are encouraged to learn through a positive, structured learning environment in which the needs of the pupils are met through a success based curriculum delivered by staff with experience and skill in dealing with children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. Teaching methods vary depending upon the class group and the individuals within it.
Eastwood Grange is committed to the delivery of the National Curriculum providing accredited courses including Certificates of Achievement and examinations up to GCSE level, as well as access to life skills, careers guidance, work experience and college link courses.
Systematic classroom management strategies are used to provide positive reinforcement for pupils and encourage pro-social behaviour. Educational visits and field trips also form part of our educational programme and emphasis is placed on providing programmes tailored to enable all pupils to reach attainable goals within their own time frame.
Eastwood Grange School is a recognised centre for all awarding bodies.
