Eastwood Grange Outcomes and achievements

Ofsted  Ofsted

Eastwood Grange is proud to advise that we have, yet again, retained our Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ accreditation for Care, which is evidenced in the summary of the most recent Ofsted inspection report dated 17th September 2010, which states that ‘The overall quality rating is outstanding’. We strive to retain this accreditation, which we have continually done so since its introduction in 2007.

Student survey results

In December 2009 we undertook a survey of the students at the school, which had very positive results and demonstrated that Eastwood Grange is a caring place.  In summary:

  • Staff are friendly, helpful and supportive – 95% of children say the school is a friendly
    and caring place.
  • It is not just the strong agreement to the emotional and caring issues that marks
Eastwood Grange as exceptional, it is the virtual lack of disagreement to any question
  • There is universal agreement that ‘I like the food I eat’, ‘The staff are nice to me’ and
‘The staff respect my privacy’. These are excellent results for the school and
    significantly higher than its peers
  • Overall, out of 43 questions asked Eastwood Grange is rated significantly above
average in 34 instances and below in 0 instances
