Residential Rehabilitation Service at the Priory Clinic Nottingham

Nottingham Bedroom

The Priory Clinic Nottingham is pleased to announce the introduction of a residential rehabilitation service. The service is designed to provide abstinence-based accommodation and support, via a highly structured 12-step treatment programme.

The service

The residential rehabilitation service focuses on completion of all 12 steps plus social reintegration, combining both one-on-one and group therapy.

Stage one of the programme is available for any service user who has already undergone detoxification and covers a similar programme to the current 28-day inpatient programme, providing a foundation for recovery.

Service Users who have already completed the 28-day Priory Addiction Treatment Programme may enter straight onto stage two of the programme. The second stage lasts between 3 and 12 months, and is designed to develop life skills that will enable the service user to return to normal functioning within society. It also enables service users to address long term issues which if not dealt with, may act as a trigger and lead to relapse.

Who is the service for?

The service is suitable for male and female service users over the age of 18 with a history of drug, alcohol, poly-substance dependence or behavioural addictions. The service is suitable for service users who have already undergone detoxification and Priory’s addiction treatment programme.

Care Pathways

Patients will be expected to undergo between three and 12 months of treatment, and will receive treatment from a multidisciplinary team of addiction therapists and counsellors, as well as other key workers and can include family involvement as well as external therapy meetings (such as AA/NA).
