Consultants working at the Priory are highly qualified experts in treating individuals with mental health conditions including those who may have multiple or dual diagnosis. The Priory London Consulting Rooms is operated and clinically directed by Dr Leon van Huyssteen, Consultant Psychiatrist. Dr van Huyssteen has admitting rights to the Priory Hospital Roehampton and is registered as a Visiting Consultant Psychiatrist to the hospital.
Dr van Huyssteen specialises in the treatment of a range of mental health issues including: general adult psychiatry, depression, anxiety, OCD and addictions as well as perinatal mental health concerns.

In addition all of our consultants:
- Have undergone extensive training in the specific forms of therapy they deliver
- Are registered with a professional body
- Are engaged in continuing professional development
- Undergo annual appraisals
Flexible appointments
At the Priory we offer flexible access to treatment and ensure that individual circumstances are taken into account ensuring the most appropriate treatment plan is recommended. Different treatment options include:
- Session by session basis
- Inpatient treatment
- Full and half day therapy programmes
With appointments available in the evenings Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings at most sites, you can access therapy at the time most convenient to you.
