Referrals and funding

Funding for the patient must be received by the Priory Hospital Middleton St George in writing prior to admission.

The Sandalwood Programme offers a transparent approach to both treatment and pricing. The initial assessment enables purchasers to consider the relevant treatment components and commit funding to a planned and agreed programme of treatment for which we will be accountable. The Sandalwood programme is not ‘palliative’ care for people with BPD. We are working towards recovery and enabling people to have a life worth living outside of hospital care, which in the longer term will reduce the demand on NHS funding resources.
