Troup House School
Overview
Troup House School is a specialist day and residential school that has a strong reputation for providing a high standard of education and care to young people between the ages of 8 to 16, who have emotional and social difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour. Children may also have difficulties with learning often as a result of a disrupted and fractured education.
Troup House School aims to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual need in a safe, positive and enriching environment in which every student is encouraged to achieve the best possible academic, social and vocational outcomes. Having been acquired by Priory Education Services in September 2010 we have a strong belief in personalised education and care programmes delivered through Troup’s individualised and integrated plan. Before attending Troup House School many of our young people have been out of education for considerable periods of time. We therefore aim to successfully re-engage them in education whilst also fulfilling their emotional needs. Through developing positive relationships and building trust in our education and care staff we provide young people with the building blocks to self-confidence and self-belief to enable them to participate in new challenges and achieve their full potential.
Troup House School can provide places for up to 12 students for up to 52 weeks of the year.
