Tadley Horizon School is a co-educational school specialising in the care and education of pupils between the ages of 5 to 19, who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Children may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

Within the safe, structured and predictable environment of Tadley Horizon School pupils will develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible, so that they are able to enjoy their lives and make real life choices as they reach adulthood.

We provide:

  • Access to a range of therapies
  • Behaviour management psychologist and school nurse
  • Emphasis on individual pupil achievement and personal development
  • Facilities specifically designed for pupils with autism
  • Multidisciplinary approach to teaching
  • Residential key worker for each pupil
  • Residential houses with individual bedrooms
  • Respite and extended day programmes
  • Waking day curriculum

The school runs on a three term year across 38 weeks for both residential and day pupils, with the option of a two week residential activity holiday in the summer. Respite care and extended day programmes are also available if required. Tadley Horizon School can provide places for up to 50 pupils.
