Unsted Park School Accessing and funding of education and care
Unsted Park School has a nationwide intake of boys and girls aged 7 to 16 years with Asperger's Syndrome, higher functioning autism and associated disorders. All students have a Statement of Special Educational Need which indicates a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome, autistic spectrum disorder, pervasive development disorder or autism. Many students will have experienced previous difficulties in mainstream schools or have been out of school for some time.
Young people are referred to Unsted Park School via local authorities, social services, education departments and health departments.
Placements can be on a day or residential basis for up to 38 weeks of the year.
