Rookery Radstock Accommodation and facilities

Rookery Radstock accommodates 17 residents in the main house there are six single bedrooms on the ground floor and two shared rooms and six single rooms on the first floor, separated from the main house is the coach house which accommodates three service users who are working towards their integration of independent living within a supported environment. All rooms have a television.

There are currently six computers all with internet access. Within the lounge area there is a wide screen TV with the full range of satellite channels.

There is a fully equipped kitchen for residents to prepare their own breakfast, lunch and supper, also evening meals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of the independent living skills programme.

Rookery Radstock has a care pathway opportunity due to its satellite house facility situated on near by Redfield Road that four bedroom house with ensuite that enables residents to fully utilise their learnt daily living skills in an independent setting at the end of their stay at Rookery Radstock.

Local community

Bus stop outside the residence, with a regular service to Bath, Bristol and Wells.

Norton Radstock College is directly opposite  with a wide range of both full and part time courses on offer.

Radstock is a five minutes walk away with good library facilities, snooker hall, wire world, several shops, supermarket and takeaways. The surrounding area has lovely walkways and a cycle path.

Midsomer Norton is approximately one mile away with excellent sport facilities.
