The Priory Grange Bristol is a purpose built facility, situated on the outskirts of Bristol, close to the M32 and within easy access of the M4 and M5 motorways. We offer a slow stream rehabilitation pathway or longer term care for adults with severe and enduring mental illness, often with challenging behaviours and other complex needs, such as chronic physical health problems. We provide intensive, highly flexible care programmes in safe caring environments for needs that cannot be met within conventional hospitals or care homes or for those looking to step down from secure services, including those detained under the mental health act (with or without MOJ restrictions).
Our aim is ensure optimum quality of life for our residents within the limitations posed by their illnesses.
We provide medium- and long-term care that incorporates a range of treatments, from slow stream rehabilitation to palliative care, and also offer many patients a home for life. Our three wards are called Hillside, Garden View and Oak Lodge. There is a female only ward and all bedrooms are en-suite and suitable for patients to individualise themselves.
The wards are staffed with qualified psychiatric (RMN) nurses and qualified general nurses (RGN) to meet the needs of our complex patients.
