Egerton Road is part of the Priory Group's neuro-rehabilitation services which specialise in the treatment of acquired brain injury and neuro rehabilitation for adults in an environment that provides individual care and positive outcomes.

Egerton Road is a small residential home, which provides a lively and supportive environment for younger adults with an acquired brain injury. It is situated in Bexhill on Sea, Sussex just a short walk from the town centre and sea front.

Our aim is to return residents back into the community via a programme of slow-stream rehabilitation. Independence, freedom of choice, socialisation within the local community and daily routines are all actively encouraged. Our Transitional Living Unit provides an ideal environment to practice independent living before returning to the community. We also help them to participate in supported education, adult education, voluntary work placements, attending day centres, workshop placements and various sporting and social activities wherever possible.

Following on from their time at Egerton Road, we offer outreach services to residents who move back into the community locally. For those residents moving out of the local area we liaise with external providers of outreach services such as Headway in order for the transition back into the community to be complete and fully supported. We also have an internal care pathway option should a move into the local community not be appropriate at that stage. We offer short-term assessment/respite/long-term care.
