Statemented as having autism with emotional and behavioural difficulties, often with other syndromes
Poor perception of the cause and effect in their behaviour
Acknowledges school as relevant but cannot cope
Poor peer relationships
Difficulties often existing prior to secondary transfer
Poor self-image (unrealistic)
Vulnerable - unable to deal with vulnerability with an appropriate response
