Priory public sector partnerships

Independent provision of public services

Priory aims to be a world-class public service organisation delivering innovative, value-for-money services. Over 75% of Priory's care is publicly-funded.  A significant proportion of our acute mental provision is funded by the NHS. This includes specialist eating disorder and adolescent inpatient services, and primary care psychological therapies.

Our secure hospitals, complex care & rehabilitation (ie Priory Grange) services, neuro-rehabilitation services, care homes and specialist education services are almost exclusively funded by the statutory sector.

Responsive, collaborative

Priory has the experience, expertise and infrastructure to respond swiftly to new service developments, via collaboration and partnership or competitive tender.  Our robust clinical governance, IT and finance structures assure public sector purchasers of the highest operational standards and rigorous performance management and monitoring.

Care pathways

Our clinical expertise and passion for innovation means our services constantly evolve to meet patients' and purchasers' needs, always with an eye to the development of comprehensive pathways within service lines, providing safe and timely passage wherever possible back to the community.  Our exceptional range of specialist mental healthcare and education services, delivered in healing, supportive environments, complement local provision and ensure patients, pupils and commissioners are offered genuine choice as regards the optimum level of specialist intervention to meet their needs.
