Secure and complex care outcomes

Priory Secure Services uses three outcomes for its patients. HONOS Secure for clinical symptom change, the C and R scales, and the summary risk judgement of the HCR-20 for change in risk and START, a more dynamic measure of change in risk and strengths.

On the HCR-20 there was a modest but significant improvement in clinical and risk scales of the HCR-20 from the first to the second CPA and a 33% reduction in risk on the summary judgement in medium secure patients and 50% reduction in low secure patients.
