Maximising individual potential

Priory Education Services offer the highest level of integrated education, care and therapy programmes for children and young people with special educational needs. Through Individual Education Plans (IEP) students are encouraged to progress in education at their own level and pace according to their individual needs and abilities. Students are encouraged to study for a wide range of academic and vocational qualifications, including GCSE's, GNVQ's, BTEC, NVQ, ASDAN, AS and A levels depending on level of ability.

It is our aim to maximise every individual's potential to enable all our children and young people to live happy and independent lives when they reach early adulthood. All Priory schools and colleges aim to achieve the best possible outcomes for every young person. This is recognised by a strong record of successful exam results and positive outcomes. Priory schools also operate a successful work placement scheme which gives students the opportunity to experience working life in an environment that understands their needs. Independent living is promoted to post 16 students, to help our young people to move on to greater levels of independence in preparation for their transition into adulthood.
