Priory education services overview
Priory Education Services is the country's leading independent provider of specialist education and care for children and young people age four upwards with special educational needs including autistic spectrum disorders (ASD), Asperger's Syndrome (AS), behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD) and specific learning difficulties (SpLD) including dyslexia.
We specialise in working with children and young people whose behaviour can often be very challenging and whose individual needs are all very different. Our aim is to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual need within a safe, positive and structured environment where every young person can achieve the best possible outcomes.
Priory Education Services has eighteen schools and four young adult services in various locations nationwide. Each school has its own individual qualities that are unique to the children and young people within it in order to offer a complete integration of education, care and therapy.
Through providing flexible, individually tailored programmes we are able to offer an education and care pathway from early childhood through to adulthood. We provide access to a wide range of therapies depending on individual need including psychological support, psychiatry, speech and language, cognitive behaviour, music and art therapy. We are also uniquely placed to offer access to our Priory CAMHS services in certain areas across the UK for those requiring acute inpatient, outpatient or day patient treatment.
We offer the option of day, extended day, weekly boarding, 52 week residential, respite care and emergency placements.
