Research

Priory Group is recognised as a training environment by the GMC and has a number of junior doctors in training. The Priory Group acknowledges its responsibility to contribute to the education of the next generation of clinicians by hosting specialist placements for doctors, nurses and other professionals in its 52 hospitals and schools. We have corporate membership of several professional organisations such as the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) and the NHS Confederation.

Priory currently co-sponsors a ground-breaking postgraduate research fellowship with the Medical Research Council that will contribute to the scientific understanding of some of the most serious mental health conditions of our time.

Priory is also currently partnering with several universities to carry out research and training. These include University College London; St George's Medical School, University of London; The University of Stirling; The Universities of Brighton and Sussex. There are developing partnerships with the University of Chester and the National University of Ireland.
