Education
Who can refer?
The majority of our students are publicly funded and are referred through local authorities, social services' education departments, health departments and the Learning and Skills Council. Privately funded students are referred through educational psychologists, Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs), head teachers and psychiatrists. We also liaise with mainstream schools to develop shared-education packages where appropriate.
All Priory Education Services schools are DCSF registered and inspected by Ofsted. Our further education colleges are members of the National Association of Specialist Colleges (NATSPEC) and we work closely with parents and referring agencies from all sectors in order to be responsive to their needs.

- We aim to acknowledge referrals within 24 hours of receipt, either by email, phone or letter
- Once received, referrals are directed to one or more of our most appropriate services
- We aim to provide a decision on how we can progress with the referral within three days
