Welcome to Priory specialist services, one of the leading providers of specialist long-term care services for patients who have suffered complex neurological disorders such as traumatic brain injury, brain haemorrhages, spinal injuries and stroke; but also those patients with mild to moderate learning difficulties who have complex needs including challenging behaviour and mental health problems, and adults with Asperger's Syndrome.

At Priory we endeavour to deliver our patients and residents with one of the most comprehensive range of specialist care solutions, on a long-term, short-term or respite basis.

Our aim

Our aim is to improve each individual patient's quality of life through intensive, highly flexible rehabilitation and care programmes delivered in safe, supportive environments. While many of our patients require life-long care, our specialised treatment programmes allow some to develop new skills that enable them to progress to less supported environments.

We are committed to a holistic approach, upholding the core values of patient respect, privacy and dignity.

Environment and facilities

All Priory hospitals within specialist services are maintained to the highest standards and provide comfortably furnished accommodation in friendly atmospheres. Our high staffing levels ensure that each patient achieves optimum quality of life.

Our extensive facilities for residents with mobility difficulties include specially adapted bathrooms, large and varied day rooms, therapy rooms and controlled access gardens. All hospitals have controlled access systems and integrated alarm systems. Our on-site chefs offer freshly prepared meals that accommodate all dietary requirements.
