The Priory Group is proud to be part of the Kings Fund “Improving mental health - How community and primary care services can support better mental health outcomes” conference on Tuesday 4th February.
This conference will explore the role that primary and community care services have in supporting better health outcomes for people with mental health conditions. The event will show how multi-disciplinary approaches, better engagement with GPs, and thinking about how mental health services are commissioned, can reduce unnecessary emergency admissions and ensure that the right care and support is provided in community settings.
The Priory Group will Chair the breakfast seminar “Enhancing service user engagement in mental healthcare”. The seminar will bring together experts from the NHS and independent sector to discuss how service users can be better supported to engage with their own mental healthcare. The speakers will present lessons learned from private practice, discuss how the NHS can implement a system-wide focus on individual needs, and explore Big White Wall’s innovative model of online support. With significant opportunity for debate, the seminar will offer a stimulating start to the conference.
