The Priory Group will be hosting a multi-agency safeguarding conference in Berkshire on Thursday 12th June with a variety of speakers from both public and private sectors. The conference aims to provide a forum for learning, sharing information, encouraging debate, and to provide support between professionals, academics, managers, regulators and multi-agency colleagues in relation to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children across the Priory Group.
Tom Riall, Chief Executive of Priory Group, states: “Safeguarding children and
vulnerable adults at risk remains an absolute priority for the Priory Group. This event is an opportunity for all to come together to share experiences and hear from experts in the field.”
Experts from the Police, Care Quality Commission, NHS England, Action against Elder Abuse, King’s College London and members of the legal profession will be speaking on the day.
Siân Wicks, Director of Corporate Assurance and Chief Nursing Officer, is leading on the event for Priory Group and explains: “We’re very much looking forward to hosting this conference specifically on safeguarding.
