The Priory Group of Companies has appointed Sian Wicks as Director of Corporate Assurance and Chief Nursing Officer, further developing its focus on the delivery of high quality, safe services following the successful implementation of new and enhanced quality and compliance systems.
Sian moves to this role from her current position as Director of Safety, Quality and Compliance. She will have Group responsibility for health and safety, risk, quality and compliance. In the new role as Chief Nursing Officer she will also provide professional leadership and take the executive lead for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults across the Group.
Sian is a Medical Law and Legal Practice graduate and a registered general nurse, with almost 30 years experience in healthcare, twelve years of which have been spent leading the Corporate Governance agenda including leading on a number of independent assignments. She has broad experience across all health and social care providers including experience in special education. She strives for excellence and has the unique ability to translate the complex national agenda from Board to floor, affecting change at the point of service delivery.
Sian will be supported by three other key appointments; David Watts, Director of Safety, Jane Rippon, Director of Quality and Nicky Cooper, Director of Compliance.
