Your exclusive event invitation: ‘Delivering a sustainable return to the community’

Priory has a unique approach to ensure service users are engaged in their recovery and we believe this is what leads to the successful step down of many of our service users.

To better understand how Priory delivers its model of engaged rehabilitation and recovery, we would like to invite you to one of our hospital events where our leading experts will offer an insight into our approach.

By attending one of three national events you will learn:

  • How Priory quickly encourage service users to want to get better and become engaged in their treatment
  • How our clinical teams and their programme’s help achieve this
  • How the extra-curricular activities and site environment help our service users

Lunch will be provided and you will also have the opportunity to discuss your own cases with our team of experts who will offer their advice on your most effective options.

Discharge planning

Discharge planning is central to Priory’s recovery model, with plans for step-down included in initial consultation with commissioners and stakeholders during the admission process. We provide a comprehensive footprint of services including supported living accommodation - offering service users and commissioners complete continuity of person-centred care.

Over 70% of discharges from our specialist forensic rehabilitation and recovery services stepped down into decreased security settings such as open rehabilitation, specialist residential and supporting living arrangements within their own homes. (2014, Sturt House)
