Priory Consultant Connect

Priory Consultant Connect has been developed to make our consultant colleagues aware of the work that is taking place across Priory, to ensure that we can offer the best possible service to those that we support.

There have been many exciting developments over the last 18 months. We’ve recently seen the opening of our new Wellbeing Centre on Harley Street, which continues to grow its service offering. There has also been the introduction of our new Addiction Treatment Programme (ATP) at Priory Hospital Woodbourne, which sits alongside their new private unit. This new unit offers market leading addiction treatment to patients across The Midlands. We have also opened a new outpatient service at Priory Hospital Ticehurst House in Sussex, with a new inpatient unit opening later this year

We are currently looking for a Wellbeing Centre site in Brighton, and are drawing up plans for a site in Lickey Hills, South of Birmingham, which will include a private ward. In the Autumn, we are also opening Rhodes Recovery, a Secondary Addiction Care Service in North London, along with a step-down private eating disorders service in Wimbledon, which will follow early in 2019.

I’d also like to take the opportunity to remind you of the business development team that is available to support you. We have a fully resourced Priory Placement Specialist (PPS) function for the first time, with a team of six supporting all sites throughout the UK. The PPS team help with site strategic initiatives and ensure a smooth patient placement process. They also promote all sites throughout the UK, as well as working closely to support your practice and develop new services. They have extensive knowledge of the market as well as access to a wide range of referrers. Please do utilise them.

2018 will also see the launch of a new Priory Group website. This will provide a vastly improved user experience and will drive increased private enquiry volumes. You can read more about this in the marketing section of your newsletter, which is led by Matthew Atherton, Director of Marketing and Communications.

We have had a challenging start to the year and continue to work closely with Acadia to help ensure that we can address any barriers impacting on our performance. I’d encourage you all to support us in our drive to provide the best possible care, to as many people in need as possible.
