I aim to create productive solutions using g CBT/REBT and my role is to listen and to create pathways using counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) tools. I understand and establish the presenting issues with a view to provide therapeutic transitions that benefits the individual.  I am skilled, experienced and trained in CBT/REBT and I have a natural, warm and friendly persona which is comforting, reassuring and directive in my methods.

I have practiced CBT while working with young adults on the autism spectrum, with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum conditions (ASC). I use CBT methods to support individuals that present with oppositional tendencies, anger outbursts, anxiety and depression.  I have then moved on to working with schools and boroughs within the exclusions department and I support high risk violent cases using CBT. This was successful and provided schools, and the borough, with a remedy for situations that were viewed as ‘dire’.

I am a natural at empowerment, inspiration and motivation using a bespoke holistic approach and have over 16 years of service as a health and wellbeing practitioner for personal growth and development, anger management, anxiety, social skills, depression and family conflict.

It was a natural step for me to write a CBT tool kit for parents dealing with difficult teens and this publication was written and published in September 2017. I am a qualified skilled Hypnotherapist, Counsellor, CBT/REBT Therapist, Drama practitioner and author. With a wealth of experience, skill and a natural health zest for life, I provide a healthy balance of professionalism and sociability.
