About
Dr Mahadev Jasti is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist based at Priory Hospital Altrincham. He also holds clinics at Priory Wellbeing Center Manchester.
Training
After graduating from University in India, Dr Jasti undertook basic specialist psychiatric training at the Mersey Deanery gaining experience in treating patients with a wide variety of psychiatric problems.
Further to completion of basic specialist training and obtaining an MRCPsych, Dr Jasti continued to work as a Staff Grade Doctor within the 5Boroughs Partnership NHS trust. Here he improved and developed his experience in treating patients with complex mental health problems within a variety of settings, and developed a keen interest in forensic services and child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).
Dr Jasti went on to achieve a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in child and adolescent psychiatry in 2009 at the West Midlands Deanery, where he developed a specialist interest in inpatient adolescent services, service development and neurodevelopment disorders.
