During this educational evening, we will be discussing how CBT based interventions can support your patients with anxiety and depression.

With 1 in 5 people becoming depressed at some point in their lives this event will provide you with information on how the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can be effective treatment to support your patients suffering from depression

Our experienced therapist will share her knowledge and experience of working with people with depression using a CBT approach, through discussion of real life examples and theory

The talk will cover aspects of treatment such as behavioural activation, cognitive restructuring and working with underlying beliefs, along with barriers to engagement in treatment

Our speaker (Fiona Duncan) has a great deal of experience covering a range of diagnoses including stress, anxiety, compulsive behaviours and depression so will be will be on hand to answer questions.
