Brynawel (previously part of Craegmoor) is a four bed community residential service for individuals with a mental illness. It is registered by CSSIW and provides therapeutic support, treatment and rehabilitation for men and women.
It provides a specialist rehabilitation and recovery service to adults diagnosed with a mental illness. We have an excellent reputation of working with clients with complex needs and supporting them in stepping down from hospital based care to living in the community. We provide 24 hour staff support and benefit from an extensive multidisciplinary team.
The facility works collaboratively with the individual, care co-ordinators and commissioning teams to provide person-centred, recovery-focused support programmes that are effective, realistic, specific to need and achieve the best possible outcomes.
We support and treat:
- Men and women aged 18 and above
- Individuals with a primary diagnosis of mental illness, mental disorder or personality disorder
- Individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviour who have proved treatment resistant
- Those with community treatment orders (CTO), Section 7 Guardianship and Conditionally Discharged patients
