Our services

At Hayes Grove, our mental health treatment specialists provide support for a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). We can also treat people with complex disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and people who may not have responded to treatment.

As a mental health patient at Hayes Grove, you’ll benefit from:

  • A therapy programme that’s tailored to your needs
  • Weekly family support group

We can also offer outpatient mental health treatment to both adults and young people. Ultimately, our aim is to help you to improve your wellbeing, and return to an enjoyable and productive way of life.

At Hayes Grove, we deliver treatment for a wide range of addictions, including alcohol and drug addiction treatment, as well as behavioural addictions such as gambling, internet and shopping addictions.

Our addiction treatment programme is a residential, 28-day process. The programme will enable you to address any physical symptoms of your addiction, through our detox process, before delivering therapeutic interventions designed to tackle the underlying triggers and causes for your addictive behaviours.

The programme includes:

  • Free, no obligation addiction assessment
  • Comprehensive consultant and nursing assessment on admission, to ensure that you're safe and fully supported throughout this process
  • 7-day medically assisted detoxification for alcohol and drug addictions, if required
  • Weekly key worker sessions
  • Structured group therapy
  • A family/couples programme
  • A 12-step informed approach
  • On and off-site 12-step support groups
  • Free aftercare for 12 months following treatment
  • Free family support for 12 months following treatment

All therapy delivered as part of our addiction treatment programme is consultant-led, with full support from our addiction therapists and peer supporters. During therapy sessions, we’ll explore the underlying reasons for your addictive behaviours and prepare you for a life free from addiction. We can also treat co-occurring trauma, dual diagnoses and multiple presenting issues.

At Priory Hospital Hayes Grove, we are dedicated to your ongoing recovery and offer aftercare support, free for 12 months, to everyone who completes their 28-day residential programme. Our aftercare offering is facilitated by our peer supporter network and includes networking assistance, talking groups, useful contacts, weekly support groups, on-site 12-step meetings and an annual summer BBQ for all of our addiction patients. We also offer a weekly family support group, free for 12 months following treatment, to help support your loved ones throughout the addiction recovery process.

In addition, we have strong links with our outpatient service at Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street, making our services accessible to all.

Our admissions team respond to all enquiries as promptly as possible, to ensure that people can be signposted to the best possible support, when they need it.

An initial phone call can help us to determine the most appropriate course of treatment for you, and may consist of:

  • An informal discussion about the services that we offer, and your individual needs
  • A more formal triage assessment by one of our senior clinicians, to determine the level of treatment that you need
  • The call may lead to a recommendation for a consultant assessment, and outpatient, day care or inpatient treatment
