The Priory group has been ranked 149th in the Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250 UK companies. Top Track 250 ranks Britain's biggest mid-market private companies, based on sales in their latest available audited accounts. The supplement is available to download.

Priory announces new Information Technology Department
The Priory Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Tina Walton as Group Business Systems Director to oversee the creation of the newly formed IT Department. Tina has extensive experience of large scale IT projects within the care industry, having successfully managed many implementations for Coldharbour Systems Limited into many current and former corporate care providers. Tina will take up her new post from 1st May 2008.
The Priory Group has taken the strategic decision to bring its IT infrastructure and applications in-house to upgrade and improve the systems used by the Group.
Phillip Scott CEO said. "With Tina's experience of the care industry and track record of success, I am confident that she will deliver a first class IT system that supports the expanding services of the Priory Group".

New care home division
The Priory Group has taken a strategic decision to set up a new care homes division. The care homes division will be created through acquisition and new builds. Managing Director, Bhavna Jones says "Older people are coming into care and nursing homes later and are frailer. They are likely to have more complex needs and associated health issues that we're confident we have the experience in caring for."

Philip Scott Joins Priory Group as Chief Executive Officer
The Priory Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Scott as the new Chief Executive Officer of Priory.
Philip has been working in the healthcare sector for over of 15 years. During that time he has been employed by several companies in a number of roles both at operational and corporate level, including Home Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Director, Managing Director and Chief Executive.
On appointment as CEO to the Priory Group, Philip said, 'I am delighted to be joining the team at Priory and look forward working with colleagues to further develop the business. Already recognised as the UK market leader in the field of independent mental health and specialist education provision, I look forward to developing new business streams that will broaden the range of services operated by the Priory Group.'
