We use the nationally recognised Health of the Nation Outcomes Scales (HoNOS) to quantify our clinical outcomes within our acute mental health, addiction and eating disorder services.

The scales comprise of 12 items measuring:

  • Behaviour
  • Impairment
  • Symptoms
  • Social functioning

We assess every individual who comes through to our services on admission and again at discharge to measure their progress whilst in our care.

Patient satisfaction

Listening to those who have come through our care is one of the most effective ways to drive improvement across our mental health services. Making improvements informed by their feedback, ensures our service users consequently feel more involved in their care.

Below are highlights from our 2014 service user outcomes.
