Dr.Ahmed qualified from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 2000 and has trained in renowned teaching hospitals in the West Midlands. He is currently employed as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Black Country Partnership Foundation NHS Trust. He specialises in General Adult Psychiatry, in particular, looking at mood disorders, anxiety and psychoses.
He has received Clinical Excellence Awards in recognition of his services within Psychiatry. He has a keen interest in research and has published papers in peer-reviewed journals.
He has a particular interest in Psychiatric Illness within ethnic minorities and is able to provide consultations in various Asian languages including Hindi and Urdu.
Dr.Ahmed also specialises in treating medical and healthcare professionals and also provides medico-legal reports if required.
