Dr Ana Reis

Dr Ana Reis is a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience with children, adolescents and adults in different settings including children and adolescents mental health, learning disabilities, paediatrics and adult mental health services.

She specialised in working with clients with Personality problems. She sees clients with attachment and emotional difficulties, difficulties controlling anger and expressing their emotions and self-harm. Dr Ana worked in a Compex Needs Service providing intensive psychotherapy to adults with personality problems. She also worked with children and adolescents with complex mental health problems caused by abuse and neglect in fostering and residential care.

Dr Ana Reis designed a service for the Cambridge University Hospitals for children with brain tumours and is able to provide cognitive assessments and rehabilitation and do bereavement work.

Dr Ana also works with clients with mood, anxiety and physical health (e.g. pain, cancer, etc) problems.

She is a Clinical Psychology Supervisor trained by the University of Oxford.

Dr Ana provides therapy in English and Portuguese in a warm and safe environment. One of her greatest strengths is the ability to build a therapeutic relationship, to empathise with client's problems and provide a wide range of therapies.
