Dr Antoinette Morgan is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She has obtained further specialist post qualification training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is working towards accreditation with the Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Dr Morgan has experience of working with children and adults at all stages of the lifespan and has worked in a range of community, inpatient and forensic settings. She is able to work with those experiencing common mental health difficulties such as depression, stress, panic, phobias, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
She also has experience in working with clients who have difficulties with childhood sexual abuse and other childhood trauma(s), self-harm, chronic illness, anger, bulimia, food restriction, poor body image, low self-esteem and interpersonal or relationship difficulties.
Dr Morgan has a good grounding in a range of therapeutic approaches, but she draws on predominantly CBT and systemic principles when working collaboratively with clients.
Dr Morgan has experience in working with clients who may have significant environmental, occupational, social and/or family difficulties affecting their mental health. She is able to offer either brief or longer term therapy, depending on the nature of the difficulty and client need.
