Dr Drever works full-time at the Priory Hospital Woking, where he specialises in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress and alcohol use. As one of the few psychiatrists to specialise in such a limited range of conditions, he has acquired a deep knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of these disorders, and he aims to deliver a superlative therapeutic experience for his patients.
Dr Drever makes use of a range of psychological treatment options, including residential, day care and one-to-one psychology, and combines these where necessary, with carefully chosen medication.
As well as seeing a wide range of private individuals, Dr Drever also consults to a range of blue chip organisations where he provides input and guidance to Occupational Health providers. He also has a special interest in Aviation Psychiatry.
Training and Background
Dr Drever is a fully registered doctor with the General Medical Council (3481590), holding a medical degree (MB ChB - 1991) and a Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych - 2000). He is also approved under section 12 (2) of the Mental Health Act, and is on the specialist register.
Dr Drever completed his specialist training on the St. George's Hospital Training Rotation, and worked in a variety of acute posts in the NHS between 1994 - 2007
