Dr Roderic Pipe is currently the Lead Adolescent Consultant at the Young Persons’ Unit, the Priory Hospital Roehampton, an independent sector 12-bedded acute general adolescent inpatient service, taking private (PMI and self-funded) as well as NHS patients. He also offers a private child and adolescent outpatient service at Roehampton, and has a counselling role Eton College (one half day per week during term time).
Dr Pipe graduated in Medicine from Edinburgh University, then took his General Psychiatric Training at St George’s Hospital in London. He undertook Higher Professional Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Bethlem and Maudsley Hospitals. He has sixteen years’ experience as an Adolescent Consultant at acute adolescent inpatient units in the NHS and the private sector.
