Jayne is an Integrative Therapist. She has trained in several distinct models of counselling and psychotherapy. When working with a client, she integrates concepts from the different approaches and tailors her treatment according to each client’s need so they can work together effectively. The main models are Psychodynamic, Cognitive Analytical Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Relationship Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Human Givens and Trauma Specialist.
Jayne is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work to their ethical guidelines.
Jayne started training as a Counsellor with Relate in 1989 before considering she was experienced enough to work as a therapeutic counsellor. Jayne now has a private practice on The Isle of Wight as well as working at HMP IOW for the OMU (Offender Management Unit) and SOTP (Sex Offender Training Programme) where she offers Professional Support. Jayne has always had a strong interest in workplace counselling and frequently work with organisations.
