Lin Copland is a psychodynamic therapist and cognitive analytic practitioner. She is interested in what experiences her clients have had that has shaped their perspective about themselves and their world.
She originally trained as a psychodynamic therapist in ’92. She is now a Cognitive Analytic practitioner. She is interested in how our early experiences shape our perspective about ourselves and our world.
Lin has a wide experience of working with both adults and adolescence with a variety of problems including depression, loss and relationship difficulties. Lin's area of expertise is in eating disorders and she has 16 years of experienced working with individuals with anorexia and bulimia. She works with clients with binge eating disorder, emotional eating and obesity.
She has an interest in Buddhist psychology and have developed Acceptance and Commitment skills which bring some of that perspective to healing in a research based therapy.
