Meghan has over five years of experience in various mental health settings and is accredited as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist by the BABCP. She uses CBT to help people who are struggling with common mental health difficulties such as generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic, specific phobias, social anxiety and depression amongst other things. In addition Meghan has undertaken training in EMDR and has applied this to helping people overcome Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Meghan is co-author of a couple of CBT articles – one of which looks into the effectiveness of a school based programme (which she helped to deliver) in preventing anxiety and depression from developing in children.
