Pamela has worked at Priory Hospital Woking since 2009, and was appointed Addiction Programme Manager in 2014, Pamela is a leading figure in the addictions community and guided the success of the Priory Hospital Woking addictions programme until handing over this role in November 2020.

Pamela’s expert opinion is regularly sought after, contributing to both national and international press titles including; The Times, BBC, The Express, The Daily Mail, The Huffington Post and The New York Times, Contributions also include; quotes, chairing podcasts, blogs and views on prominent issues used by a number of websites and social media platforms

Pamela has 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist and has always had an interest in psychology with specific interests in trauma and addiction. She completed a degree in psychology and since then numerous studies into psychotherapy.

Pamela integrates many approaches to therapy to offer a wholesome and relational way of working with people. Her experience is informed by 25 years of experience in the business travel industry, having started her career with British Airways in a corporate capacity. This led to a long-term career with Hogg Robinson Business Travel International acting as a Business Analyst and taking a middle management role, organising staff worldwide, and managing the multi-million travel budgets for three of the top ten clients for HRBTI.

Pamela is accredited as an Advanced Practitioner with the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals, and is a registered Member of British Association of Counselling Professionals (BACP)and National Counselling Society (NCS)

Training

Throughout her years as a psychotherapist, Pamela has continued her studies, most recently with NAOS Institute, Bath University and currently with Metanoia.
